This is by far the most outrageous iris in the garden. The juxtaposition of gold and violet would really be quite enough, but then there is that copper ruffled border to set it all off.

My goodness, I've never seen an iris quite as gorgeously flamboyant as this. You must be feeding your plants with some magical formula!
