Grasshoppers eat flowers. This guy is munching a petal of a huge orange dahlia like it was an ear of corn, leaving a raggedy trail behind him. What started out for me as a fascination with his strange bloodshot eyes and intricate markings has grown into a curiosity about how he manages in the world. I wonder how much of the dahlia will be gone by morning.

Dinner With Andre
Grasshoppers eat flowers. This guy is munching a petal of a huge orange dahlia like it was an ear of corn, leaving a raggedy trail behind him. What started out for me as a fascination with his strange bloodshot eyes and intricate markings has grown into a curiosity about how he manages in the world. I wonder how much of the dahlia will be gone by morning.
