Here's the backstory: awhile ago my friend Marilyn posted a terrific picture of a blue bike on her blog: dynamic composition, great juxtaposition of blue and orange--a photo that truly presented an ordinary object as an abstract and inspiring image. On my errands today there was this echo of the First Blue Bike, and the idea that we could toss this back and forth for awhile.
