My Julia Moment
I saw the movie. I read the blog book. Then I read Julia's own book about living in France. Following that, we rented a couple of her cooking videos, and I got The Cookbook out of the library. And then this weekend we were given a big brown paper sack of mushrooms that needed to be used up right away. There was only one thing left to do: Potage Velouté aux Champignons. The butter is in the frame as a tribute to Julia. And in case anyone is wondering: the soup was okay.

Only okay? I loved the film and am going to order the book as well. Thought Meryl Streep was quite amazing.
