Spinning

He's in the act of spinning the silk harness that anchors him to the clear plastic wall of the viewing box. I'm still fascinated with the life cycle of these creatures. Once he begins to spin, he does not pause in his efforts: I move the box to better light, stick the camera up close, click, click, and noisily click, move everything again and again, and not once does he break his rhythm, swinging his massive head and supple upper body back and forth until the multiple strands are woven and secure and he at last rests in a lovely curve against the wall.
