What's funny is that I was mooning around the fading flowers again, despairing of ever finding a new insect, when there it was at the end of the row! I almost missed it because the topaz color blended nicely with the dead rose. Science factoid for the day: dragonflies hold their wings open and flat, or down and forward, when perched. I can only get as far as Anisoptera, and cannot figure the family group for this new guest.

Dragonfly, At Last
What's funny is that I was mooning around the fading flowers again, despairing of ever finding a new insect, when there it was at the end of the row!
