My aunt Jeanne made this for me. She was the crafty one, always painting, cutting, stitching, piecing, making happy little things out of scraps and leftovers, always there for me with a hug and an open heart. I loved her pineapple cheesecake, and I loved her generous kind soul. When I unpack the ornaments every year, she is here with me for a nice long visit.

Scraps and Stories
