This reminds me of something that would have been worn on a soft black coat in the fifties. It would have been too ornate for my mother, so I don't know where I saw it, maybe in the movies. But the red is an asparagus berry--that gorgeous feathery plant is in yet another state of beauty. Seen from the kitchen window it is a thick plume of yellow green on the dark earth; up close it is a delicate arrangement of crystals and stems in the rain.
