Lots o' Pots

Every winter our friend Kathleen hosts a raku-firing party at her studio--dozens and dozens of people come to glaze small clay pots and then transform them into beautiful pieces to take home for the new year.  Weeks in advance, friends gather to make enough simple pots to insure everyone will have a piece to choose.  We roll and cut and stretch the clay, stamp it, pleat it, and shape it.  Don't forget to put little feet on the bottom!
