How Big Do You Think This Is?

These brown spiders are everywhere these days.  This one spun a lovely web across the back stairs, but we had to break through it to get to the door.  A couple hours later we had to go back outside, and he had already rebuilt, only to get knocked aside again.  Sometimes I try to walk under or around, but he had our entrance pretty well covered.  I think twice was his limit, because he did not come back again.
