We did a little dance, the dragonfly and I. When I got too near, he lifted straight up and dipped and glided around the garden for a little while before settling back on the same perch. In the meantime, I shuffled one tiny step closer, and carefully inched the camera out just a tad more. Eventually and miraculously all the elements came together. I still want to know where they sleep.

Dragonfly
We did a little dance, the dragonfly and I. When I got too near, he lifted straight up and dipped and glided around the garden for a little while before settling back on the same perch. In the meantime, I shuffled one tiny step closer, and carefully inched the camera out just a tad more. Eventually and miraculously all the elements came together. I still want to know where they sleep.
