Gravity

This sulfur shelf fungus is a big mushroom--several almost fluorescent orange layers stacked nearly a foot high, and as wide, all attached to the base of a tree.  According to Wikipedia, Laetiporus is edible and known as chicken of the woods, for its familiar flavor, but what turned out to be most interesting to me is the drop of water pooling on the bottom of one of the ledges.  Something about the color screams don't eat me, kinda like yesterday's milkweed bug, but Wikipedia doesn't lie....
